Job Description

***Candidates should live in the Des Moines, IA or surrounding area*** Job Summary Sales Representatives are driven to produce positive sales growth and increased market share in an assigned geographic territory. Sales Representatives are responsible for identifying and developing new business and customers as well as expanding relationships with existing customers, contractors, and dealers. Successful Sales Representatives thrive in managing all aspects of the construction process to ensure a positive customer experience. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Contact, meet and follow-up with customers, developing a relationship built on trust and respect to ensure a robust sales funnel and exceed sales expectations Prepare building proposals and written contracts Enter contracts into computer inventory system Review drawings/materials for accuracy Prepare Job packs/labor contracts Navigate and verify county & city licenses for customer’s structure and assist with the permit process Schedule final walk-through after structure is completed Collect payments as required Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Experience Needed

Experience and Skills 2+ years of outside sales experience or relevant construction management related job experience Prior construction sales experience is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills along with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems Must be able to lift at least 60lbs
