
Guide Specification for Post-Frame Building SystemsSpecifiers and other design professionals are invited to edit the NFBA Guide Specification for Post-Frame Building Systems document to create specifications for their post-frame projects. Guide Specification inputs and output are organized in the familiar 3-part Masterspec format: General, Products, and Execution. 1. Click on Create New to begin a new document, type the project name in the Document Title, and click on Create Document. Click on a name in the list of Pending/Open Specifications to continue or edit an existing project specification. 2. Select from the menu on the left hand side of the screen to input data. Note that:
3. To save your inputs, scroll to the end of each section and click Save Answers and Go to the Next Section. 4. To save all your data, click Complete Document before proceeding to the output portion of the program. If you don't complete this step, you won't be able to print out the specification. 5. On the Post-Frame Guide Specification Home Page, scroll down until you find your building project title under Completed Specifications and click on Download RTF to download a Rich Text Format document that you can then edit to produce a final specification.
